Neighborhood bar that reserved seats at the bar. It’s odd. I get off of work and want to watch some sports while the wife is out of town. I stop in and 4 seats are reserved. Not cool!!! Looks like a fun place. A higher end sports bar. Unfortunately you only get one chance to make an impression…
Went on a Wednesday at 8pm. There were only about 5 people in the place but the bartender still took about 5 minutes to look up from his phone and acknowledge me. Slammed my drink down and walked away and continued on his phone.
Left the bar for about 10min when the waitress finally came up and asked if I’d like another drink, since mine had been empty for a WHILE. He came back grabbed the glass, didn’t ask if I wanted the same thing, refilled it, slammed it down and kept on walking. Never offered a menu or engaged at all about anything.
Rude. Looks like a phenomenal place, but that guy needs to learn some manners. I’ve worked service industry jobs plenty back in my day, so I have realistic expectations. I’d check it out again on a busier night when that guy want on shift.
